Shriners Circus

The weekend before we went on vacation, the Shriners Circus came to town.  One of our neighbors is a Shriner and he gave us free tickets.  We had never taken the girls to the circus before so we were really excited and thanked him profusely...his reply was something like "don't thank me, getting in is the cheap part, but I'm sure your girls will enjoy it"  And he was right, it wasn't cheap, but we really enjoyed it!  We took Grandma H with us and she splurged and treated the girls to an elephant ride...

Alyssa loved the magicians and she keeps mentioning "the guy who tried to ride his bicycle upside down" (the comedian/clown but without the rainbow hair, red nose and face paint).  The clown came out after a really talented bmx rider who did all sorts of amazing tricks on his bike.  And while the clown's routine was very funny, he was pretty talented on his bike too, especially given the fact that we was riding it backwards and upside down half the time.

I'll post vacation pictures next...
